Kori is a proud native of Berkeley, California. She started her teaching career in a small Title I school after receiving her B.A. in Early Childhood Education from Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia.
To be better equipped to meet the emotional needs of her students, Kori completed an M.Ed. in Community Counseling at the University of Oklahoma. Kori has served as a teacher, school leader, district director, and consultant.
Her areas of expertise are professional development, strategic thinking and planning, and pipeline development all with a strengths-based focus. Kori is raising a precious son with her husband and friend, Jason.
